Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) specialized healthcare professionals are sought for an assignment at a designated trauma center located in Overland Park, Kansas. The role involves working in a high-volume surgical environment with a diverse range of procedures, including complex hernia repairs, joint replacements, trauma, and vascular surgeries. The position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Job Details:
- Location: Overland Park, KS, 10500 Quivira Road
- Schedule: Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications: None required
- Experience: 0 years required; surgical/procedural experience preferred but not necessary
- Responsibilities: Assisting with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including obstetrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiology, and trauma care; maintaining sterile environments; supporting patient safety and protocol adherence
- Unit Specifics:
- Number of beds: 343
- Patient ratios: 1:1
- No float policy, except related to COVID-19, which is rarely required
- Hospital is accredited as a trauma center, with multiple specialty certifications and awards
- Additional Information:
