Cardiac OR – Operating Room - Registered Nurse
Schedule: 12 hours shift - 7a to 7p
Complete Description:
Cardiac OR – Operating Room
The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients. CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure (VAD s, ECMO, Artificial Heart and Heart Transplants) to name a few. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages.
Ability
to independently circulate complex adult cardiac cases which may
include CABGs, structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures
(Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella). Transplant,
TAVI/ TAVR experienced preferred but not required.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) years Experience
- Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - preferred
- Able to circulate
- Telemetry
Certification(s):
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move RN License (NY License ONLY) Required BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Required Two (2) Years Experience Required 2 Years Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma Highly desired Able to scrub and circulate Required ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Required Telemetry Required
