Opportunity:

RN - Oncology Nurse

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• No weekend or holiday rotation required
• No floating required
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, with a 36-hour low census unbillable hour allowance per contract
• Work in an outpatient infusion and wound care department, averaging 7-8 patients per day
• Provide care for patients requiring wound care, infusion therapy, and oncology treatments
• Excellent assessment and patient care skills required
• Minimum 2 years of infusion RN experience required
• Associate Degree (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Michigan RN License required
• AHA or ARC BLS Certification required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Wound care experience preferred
• Wound Care Certification preferred but not required
• Chemotherapy Certification preferred but not required
• Professional scrubs required (any color)
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

The facility maintains a focused patient care environment with an average daily patient census of 7-8 patients, allowing for attentive and thorough care. The organization upholds high standards of clinical excellence and utilizes Epic as its primary electronic health records system.
