Position Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – BMT Oncology
- Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Oncology – Med Surg/Telemetry
- Facility: Colorado Blood Cancer Institute
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Schedule Details
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Schedule: 3×12-Hour Shifts
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of current BMT Oncology acute care hospital experience
- Experience with Chemotherapy Administration
- Experience with Central Line Blood Draws
Required Certifications
- Active RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certification
Position Highlights
- Work at the 15th largest Bone Marrow Transplant Center in the U.S.
- Participate in Phase I (First-in-Human) Clinical Trials
- Growing CAR-T Therapy Program
- Patient Ratio: 1:6 (lower for higher-acuity patients)
- Modern equipment including Baxter IV Pumps and ICU Medical Chemo Adapters
- EMR: Meditech & Onco
- Supportive team with Charge RNs, Resource RN, Medical Assistants, and experienced nursing staff
Additional Important Notes
- BMT/Hematology-Oncology experience is highly preferred
- Seeking candidates with an outgoing, personable, and compassionate approach
- Only candidates meeting the required BMT Oncology experience and certifications will be considered
