Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0730, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri), 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Oncology, BLS from AHA.
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, to any unit in the med/surg service line.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the shift, with significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids. The role involves working in an outpatient oncology clinic, administering medication, and documenting in EMR using EPIC software.
