Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse - Nights - Medical City Plano. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients within a 30-bed oncology unit. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met efficiently and compassionately during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess BLS certification. No prior minimum years of experience required. Location requirements and specific educational qualifications are not specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with skills in IV insertion and chemotherapy are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit is a surgical oncology inpatient setting with approximately 48 staff members, including nurses, patient care technicians, and health unit coordinators.
