Job Summary:
Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) in Richland, Washington. This position involves conducting health screenings on new hires, administering necessary vaccines to ensure caregiver safety, managing blood and body fluid exposures, providing respiratory protection training, and overseeing communicable disease management. The role does not include direct patient care and requires learning a new in-house electronic health record system, as EPIC is no longer used.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state nursing license or compact license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, experience with occupational health or employee health, and excellent communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with health screenings, vaccination clinics, or occupational health programs.
- Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to work at least 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All scheduling requests and time-off considerations must be submitted during application; later requests may not be accommodated. This role involves learning a new electronic health record system and may require floating between facilities nearby the assigned location. References covering the last 3 years, with at least 6 months as a charge nurse or lead, are required.
