Required Experience & Skills
- Labor & Delivery experience – Required
- Must be able to take over a recovery in Labor & Delivery
- Must be able to assist with/catch a baby during a Cesarean section
- Strong maternal/newborn assessment and monitoring skills
- Ability to provide coordinated nursing care throughout the delivery and recovery process
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced L&D environment
- Must be comfortable collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team
