Job Summary:
A Neonatal Nursery (NN) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in an area of New Mexico. The RN will be responsible for providing competent, patient-centered care to newborns, GYN, maternal, and baby patients, following established nursing protocols. The role involves functioning as a primary RN, with potential to float to other hospital departments as directed, ensuring adherence to high standards of safety and care.
Job Details:
- Location: Silver City, New Mexico
- Position: Neonatal Nursery (NN) RN
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/14/2026
- Certifications/Education/Experience requirements: Current New Mexico or multi-state licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); three years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Medical-Surgical units; proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic medical record documentation; also, STABLE certification and Baby-Friendly experience are preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional information: The position involves working every third weekend and offers block scheduling options upon request.
