Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Arkansas or compact license eligible upon offer
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NICU
• Prior travel nurse experience required
• Level IV NICU experience must be clearly documented
• EPIC experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Must pass fit testing
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must test negative for nicotine

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill neonates in a high-acuity NICU
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using strong clinical judgment and neonatal assessment skills
• Support care for micro-preemies, VLBW infants, surgical newborns, and complex neonatal diagnoses
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary pediatric care team
• Deliver safe, family-centered care in a fast-paced neonatal intensive care setting
• Assist with ventilator management, specialized neonatal equipment, and advanced therapies as needed
• Float as required within the ICU cluster based on staffing needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical and unit protocols
