Job Summary:
This Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) specialist position is located in an organization seeking qualified healthcare professionals for a backfill assignment. The role involves working in a Level III NICU with a focus on neonatal patient care, primarily during rotating day and night shifts. The assignment is scheduled for 17 weeks, with every other weekend required and the ability to work additional weekends if needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Education: Relevant nursing or healthcare degree
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, NICU level III, teaching facility experience preferred, EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years required, NICU experience to include detailed work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
- Location Requirements: Must have reliable transportation, privately owned or rental vehicle, equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April

- IVS to OFFER
- Monday to Sunday scheduling with no block schedules
- Bi-weekly orientation on Monday, next scheduled for 09/21
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Travel is not required, and float rotation is not expected
