Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in the Atlanta area. This position involves working a weekend block schedule of nights, specifically Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role requires delivering specialized care to neonates with complex diagnoses, with the opportunity to float to other units as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 3 years of experience as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse, experience with level IV/surgical NICU, and current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Candidates must have worked with common neonatal diagnoses such as congenital diaphragmatic hernia, meconium aspiration syndrome, necrotizing enterocolitis, tracheoesophageal fistula esophageal atresia, abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative neonatal care.
- Additional Information: Open to floating to other units. Must work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract period. Candidates must be tested along with a drug screen and have a current flu vaccination (religious and/or medical exemptions are not accepted).
