Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position located in Irving, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients requiring advanced life support and developmentally appropriate interventions. The position is scheduled for night shifts, with a focus on family-centered care, and requires a committed and skilled neonatal nurse.

Job Details:

  • Location: Irving, Texas
  • Shift: Night shifts, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
  • Required Qualifications: Active RN license (temp licenses will not be accepted), minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty experience, experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or ventilation, proficiency with central line stabilization, experience with GE bedside monitors and GE beds (Giraffe and Panda warmers), Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, and Neomed/Medfusion feeding/medication pumps. Documentation system experience in Meditech and CPNS preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech EHR system is a plus.
  • Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Procedures Performed: Line placement, circumcision assistance, intubation assistance
  • Patient Experience: Family-centered care approach
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue Medical City Healthcare scrubs, clean and healthy nails (no polish or artificial nails), neat hair pulled back when working in the lab, body art should be covered, no visible piercings other than earrings, no perfumes or lotions.
  • Floating Policy: As needed, to neonatal nursery.
  • Attendance Policies: Adherence to company-wide attendance policies.
