We’re hiring an experienced **Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)** for a travel assignment in Massachusetts!

🔹 **Requirements:**
• **Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg/Telemetry nursing experience required**
• Active **Massachusetts RN License**
• Current **BLS**
• Strong **Telemetry experience required**
• Med/Surg/Intermediate Care experience preferred
• Nursing degree required
• Must live **more than 90 miles from the facility**
• Strong cardiac monitoring and clinical assessment skills

🔹 **Assignment Details:**
• **13-week contract**
• **12-hour night shifts**
• **7:00 PM–7:30 AM**
• **3x12 or 4x12 shifts available**
• **36 guaranteed hours/week**
• Holiday coverage required
• No on-call
• W-2 employment only

🔹 **Unit Details:**
• 50-bed Med/Surg, Telemetry & Intermediate Care unit
• Expected patient ratio: **6:1**
• Work closely with the broader Baystate Health system
• Provide care to medically complex adult patients
• Strong telemetry monitoring experience is essential

🔹 **Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Monitor vital signs, labs, and diagnostic results
• Identify and respond to clinical deterioration
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Manage multiple patients effectively in a **6:1 ratio**
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
