Position Highlights

• ER Holding unit with Med/Surg level of care
• 36- or 48-hour options available
• 1:4 patient ratios
• 8-bed unit with approximately 12 daily census
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 24 hours of orientation
• Physical Therapy, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response, and other interdisciplinary support
• Floating may be required to like units within the RN's scope of practice

Requirements

• 2 years RN experience preferred; 1+ year may be considered
• Previous travel experience not required
• Charge experience not required
• ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS required
• NIHSS certification required
• Med/Surg and MS/Tele experience
• Experience with telemetry, IV starts/management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, wound care, insulin, heparin, feeding tubes, PICC lines, and CVA patients preferred
• Pending NM or Compact license accepted, but license must be obtained before start
