Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse for a temporary assignment in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing patient care in a unit specializing in medical surgical and telemetry services, with coverage needed during nights. The position requires working a minimum of 36 hours per week with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts. The assignment is expected to last approximately four months, with a start date on October 19, 2026.
Job Details
- Location: Nights shift, ongoing from 10/19/2026 to 02/07/2027
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year experience
AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification required
CMSRN (Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse) certification preferred
NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required prior to start
Epic electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
Valid New York license, or proof of application with applied date, required in packet at time of submission - Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
This is a replacement assignment for 16-26 weeks
The facility requires all employment history details to be complete in order to submit
All work history information must be provided, including bed count, EMR system, and facility type
All work days are from Monday to Sunday with no block schedules
Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled, with the next available on 11/02
Travelers must work 2 out of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day/Eve
Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is unavailable in the area
Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
