Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Palmer, Massachusetts.
Job Description & Requirements

Med Surg / Intermediate Care RN
Experience: 1–2 years required
Unit Size: 46 beds
- 40 Acute Med Surg beds
- 6 Intermediate Care beds
Patient Ratios
- Days: 1:5–6
- Nights: 1:6–7
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
Floating
Traveler will float as needed to:
- Surge Unit
- Emergency Department
Floating is specifically to care for Med Surg patients who are unable to transfer to the Med Surg floor.
Weekends & Holidays
- Based on unit needs
- Every other weekend at most
- Holiday scheduling based on department needs
Unit Support
- Dedicated admission/discharge RN
- Patient ambulator
- Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
- Security on-site 24/7
- No IV team
- No dedicated Rapid Response Team
Strong fit for a Med Surg RN comfortable with ratios up to 1:6, intermediate-care patients, and floating to overflow areas while maintaining a Med Surg assignment.
