Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred or required per facility screening standards
• One qualifying reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• All required certifications must be active and available at submission
• Ability to successfully complete facility orientation assessments
• Travel nurses must discuss requested time off during interview and include it with submission

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital standards and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Prioritize patient safety, clinical communication, and timely escalation of concerns
• Support a smooth night-shift workflow and contribute to a positive team environment
