• Assignment Length: 20 weeks, with 13-week option also available
• Orientation: Approx. 16 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• At least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience prior to travel assignment
• Active permanent Ohio nursing license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Ability to meet all submission and compliance requirements by the deadline

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on a night shift schedule
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition quickly and accurately
• Administer medications, carry out physician orders, and support individualized care plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
• Document care accurately and maintain strong communication with patients and the healthcare team
• Participate in orientation, assessments, and required modules to remain compliant and prepared for the travel nursing assignment
