Position Summary Registered Nurse needed for an extremely busy 52-bed medical-surgical unit (where patients could occasionally be step-down level). Responsibilities include evaluating patients, assisting physicians, planning and implementing individualized nursing care, and managing patient assignments of 1:4 or 1:5.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required
- Active New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required
- Required Certifications: NIHSS, Telemetry, AHA BLS, and 4 hours of CEU Contact Stroke
- Required Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
