Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) nurses in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in an acute hospital setting, with a focus on adult and geriatric populations. The role includes managing patients' clinical needs on nights, with an emphasis on telemetry monitoring and clinical proficiency.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS certification; at least 1 year of relevant experience; possession of AK RN license or ability to complete license application within 48 hours for auto offer; valid state license in hand prior to assignment start
- Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience and chemo administration familiarity are preferred but not required
- Float: May float within scope to meet facility needs
- Additional Information: The assignment is scheduled to begin on 09/14/2026 for a duration of 13 weeks. Candidates must be able to work a fixed night shift and commit to working three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All RTO requests should be included at the time of submittal, as post-offer modifications may not be granted.
- Travel experience is not explicitly required but prior experience in fast-paced acute care environments is advantageous.
- Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless for scheduled interviews. References covering one year within the last three years are required.
