Job Summary:
This is a Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves working in a unit that caters to adult and geriatric patient populations with a patient ratio of approximately 1:5-6. The facility has 24 beds dedicated to Medical Surgical care, with staff expected to float to other units such as Telemetry, ICU, and Stepdown as needed. The assignment begins on 08/24/2026, with a schedule of 12-hour days.

- Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of recent hospital acute Medical Surgical with Telemetry experience, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, EMR experience with EPIC within the last year, and a valid license to practice.
- Preferred Qualifications: Teaching facility experience and experience with EPIC at a previous facility.

- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Holidays & Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period; holiday requirements based on needs.
- Other Requirements: Strong IV skills preferred, willingness to float, and availability to complete non-billable Healthstream modules prior to orientation (approximately 2 hours). NIHSS exam must be completed prior to start with results submitted by Wednesday at 2 pm CST; failure to do so may result in cancellation.
- Additional Notes: The candidate must not have any hits on licenses or backgrounds, and recent EPIC usage must be documented. The assignment involves working on a teaching facility with a focus on adult and geriatric care.
