Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse position located in the region. This role involves providing care for adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and unit support. The assignment is scheduled to begin on September 14, 2026, and ends on December 14, 2026, offering an engaging clinical experience in a fast-paced, short-term acute care environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of experience in medical-surgical with telemetry, current ACLS and BLS certifications, and experience with charting in Epic.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in trauma or Level I/II trauma units preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units based on skill set and unit needs.
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience managing ports, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Shift coverage includes every other weekend and a commitment to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. Candidates must be prepared to work on-call standby and participate in orientation hours.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior experience questions, including prior work at a Providence facility if applicable, and submit two references covering a minimum of one year within the last three years.
