Norton Sound Health Corporation is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics team in Nome, Alaska. The RN provides high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing.
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Provide newborn assessments and patient education.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- OB/Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
