Job Summary:
MS (Medical Surgical Floor) Registered Nurse (RN) This position offers an opportunity to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, health promotion, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule; 36 hours per week; shifts will include every other weekend. The assignment is from 09/14/2026 to 12/12/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Current NYS RN License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); nursing (RN) experience of at least 6 months to 3 years; management experience of zero to 3 years; five plus (5+) years of direct nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; professional certification in a related nursing specialty; relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC).
- Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, using EPIC electronic health record, and participating in various clinical initiatives. Skills in collaboration, communication, critical thinking, planning, problem-solving, and safety management are essential. Ensuring cardio experience is confirmed prior to submission is recommended.
