Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced Med/Surg acute care environment
• Ability to adapt to rotating schedules, staffing needs, and unit priorities

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, compassionate patient care based on established nursing standards
• Monitor and assess patients with a focus on Med/Surg and telemetry nursing needs
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
• Serve in expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member when needed
• Deliver professional, service-oriented care while maintaining patient safety and workflow efficiency
• Support a culture of clinical practice, evidence-based nursing, and continuous professional development
