Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Hospice, home health, or travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a weekend on-call hospice RN role
• Willingness to support care within a 60-mile radius from the office location

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled hospice nursing care and support to patients in the home setting
• Serve as the primary nurse on call during weekend coverage
• Complete timely patient assessments, symptom management, and follow-up care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Respond to after-hours clinical needs with professionalism and compassion
• Document care accurately and maintain a high standard of patient-centered support
• Promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients receiving hospice services
