Medical Surgical (MS) nurse position in a facility with a primarily surgical focus and some medical overlap due to bed availability. The role involves working on a unit with 35 private patient rooms, two nurses stations, and a mix of nursing staff, including a shift supervisor and patient care technicians. The position requires adapting to a rotating shift schedule with every other weekend shifts and flexibility for holiday requests.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, with 8 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Education as a registered nurse; CPR certification; 0 years of experience; Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical nursing; BLS certification; Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for an adult patient population, managing multiple patients in a surgical and medical crossover setting, and collaborating with a diverse healthcare team.
