Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) – Preferred
- Previous acute-care facility experience – Preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice – Required
Required Certifications
- BLS/CPR from an approved vendor per AH policy – Required
- ACLS – Required
- PALS – Preferred/Optional for the first contract
Important Certification Information
- ACLS is required at the start of the assignment.
- PALS is optional for the first contract, but travelers who extend for additional contracts must obtain PALS certification before the extension.
Schedule & Unit Information
- Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekend rotation required
- Unit requires solid-color scrubs
