🏥 Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Days 🏥
We're seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 15-week travel assignment!
📍 Location: Hilo, Hawaii
📅 Contract: 15 Weeks
☀️ Shift: Days (36 hours/week following orientation; flexible scheduling required)
💼 Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience
🏥 Specialty: Adult Medical-Surgical
Requirements
✅ Active Hawaii RN License (or willing to obtain upon offer; license required before assignment starts)
✅ Minimum 3 years of Adult Medical-Surgical experience
✅ Current BLS Certification
✅ ACLS Certification preferred
✅ Experience caring for adult Med-Surg patients in an acute care setting
✅ Ability to float to Surgical/Pediatrics or Transitional Care Unit as needed
Assignment Highlights
🏥 Work in a 50-bed Adult Medical Unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
💻 Utilize EPIC EMR
🩺 Care for adult Medical-Surgical patients using equipment including Pyxis, wound vacs, chest tubes, and more
☀️ Flexible day shifts with varying shift lengths and workdays
🔄 Opportunity to float to other units based on patient care needs
