Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience preferred
• Experience in Med/Surg, medical-surgical nursing, or adult inpatient care strongly desired
• Ability to work rotating shifts and consecutive weekends as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting

Medical-Surgical Nursing Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and best practices
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge readiness
• Maintain accurate records and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
