• Additional Scheduling: Every other weekend, holidays, and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks
• Assignment Dates: 9/21/2026 to 2/20/2027
• Duration: 22 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,960-$2,070
• Location: Penn Yan, NY 14527

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac care preferred
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct, compassionate medical-surgical nursing care and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment
• Support cardiac care needs, including telemetry monitoring
• Educate patients and families on recovery, self-care, and lifestyle changes after discharge
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and high standards of nursing practice
• Document care, education, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
• Contribute to a healing environment built on trust, respect, and teamwork
