Experience & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Standard Med Surg nursing experience.
- License & Certifications: Active Indiana RN license and BLS certification required.
Clinical & Unit Overview
- Unit Details: Unit 4EA (Medical Maximum Care), a 32-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in renal patients and serving as a step-down ventilator unit.
- Patient Types: Stable ventilator patients, BiPAP patients, acute/chronic renal failure, dialysis, fluid overload, general medical/surgical patients, and hospitalist overflow.
- IV Drips: Heparin and Dopamine (strictly at a 5mcg constant rate for renal perfusion, no titration).
- Telemetry: 32 beds with remote telemetry monitored 24/7 (telemetry used only if ordered).
