Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) positions are available on a rural acute care unit. The roles involve providing patient care for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions during night shifts. These are full-time and per diem assignments focused on maintaining staffing ratios and ensuring quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: All applicants must hold current RN licensure, with required certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS). No minimum experience required beyond the standard licensure. The position is located in a rural setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical nursing is desirable but not mandatory.
- Additional Information: The role requires staffing for the acute swing unit, with patient ratios of 1:5. Coverage includes 6 shifts per week, with staffing challenges due to rural location and recruitment difficulties.
