Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Clinical certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of two years' experience in medical-surgical nursing; proficiency with electronic health record systems such as EPIC; legal eligibility to work in the United States; residence or work authorization in Maryland; and prior employment experience of at least 1 year in a healthcare setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Johns Hopkins systems or facilities; additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position requires adherence to hospital policies and protocols, including safety standards, SOPs, and patient care procedures. Prior employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted on the application to verify rehire status; candidates with previous employment as staff, PRN, or travel personnel in these facilities must be gone for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler.
