Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) specializing in the Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves monitoring patients on telemetry, collecting specimens, and starting IVs, with additional support from the IV team as needed. The position is based in an acute care setting, emphasizing patient safety and clinical competence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Nursys license, driver's license or state ID, professional ascension profile, two professional references, and an updated ascension resume.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cardiovascular or telemetry unit is beneficial.
- Additional Information: This role involves working on a 38-bed medical-surgical cardiovascular unit. RNs will start IVs, with the IV team providing support. No EKGs or sheath discharges are performed. Staff will wear blue scrubs and use Cerner OneChart for documentation.
