Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical care is needed for a role based in Atlanta, Georgia. The position involves providing complex medical care on a medical-surgical floor with additional research responsibilities. The assignment includes working in a research unit for a portion of the month, focusing on medically complex cases such as urinary tract infections, pneumonia, sepsis, and other critical conditions, as well as conducting flu challenges in a research setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; experience in Medicare/Medicaid documentation and procedures; strong skills in Medical-Surgical nursing; recent experience handling complex cases like UTI/PNA, sepsis, trachs, PEGs, peritoneal dialysis, AMS, pancreatitis; experience with research unit procedures; EPIC system proficiency; minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Peritoneal Dialysis experience; participation in research studies, particularly flu challenge research involving healthy patients.
- Additional Information: The role requires working in a research environment focused on complicated medical conditions and research studies. Parking is provided at a rate of $75 per month. The assignment start date is 08/31/2026.
