Assignment Overview
Seeking a dedicated RN for the MedSurg/Tele unit to provide care for patients with acute and chronic conditions, post-op surgeries, and common med-surg population co-morbidities such as diabetes and hypertension. Ideal candidates will have strong clinical assessment skills and be comfortable in a 24-bed unit with a census of 24 patients.

Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and provide med-surg nursing care
- Manage tracheostomy, chest tubes, PIV starts, insulin and heparin drips
- Conduct cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Plan discharges and educate patients
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN License (GA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm)
- 2 years Med/Tele experience
Preferred:
- ACLS certification
- National Medical-surgical certification
