Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to med-surg and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Manage chest tubes and tracheostomy care
- Administer IV medications and drips, including insulin, heparin, and more
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience
- BLS Certification
- Strong assessment and time management skills
- Tele skills and experience managing specific drips
Preferred:
- ACLS Certification
- Certification in Med Surg
