Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | Concord, NC
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Concord, NC. This role is suited for a candidate with strong post-surgical skills and a capacity to adapt to various patient care settings. The unit involves working with patients undergoing orthopedic and vascular surgeries, trauma, and medical overflow cases.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Teaching Hospital
- Location: Concord, NC
- Shift Details: 3x12-hour night shifts

- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
- Floating: Required to float to various units within the region as needed
- Charting System: EPIC
- Support Staff: CNAs, Charge Nurse, IV/VAT Team, and more
Responsibilities
- Deliver post-surgical care including incision care, assessments, and wound care.
- Manage drains, chest tubes, and trach care.
- Administer medications and maintain patient mobility.
- Educate patients and families on care procedures.
- Adapt to floating between MedSurg and ICU settings as necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
- General post-surgical skillset
Preferred:
- Prior travel nursing experience
