Job Description:

The Med Surg Float Pool nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care across multiple medical-surgical units.
• Utilize clinical judgment and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
• Float between Med Surg, step down units, and ED for med surg holds.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience.
• BLS, NIHHS certifications required (ACLS and TNCC preferred).
• Strong EPIC proficiency required.
• Compliance with Temple policies and medication safety protocols.
