Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with alternating weekends
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a high-acuity environment
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel eligibility

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards
• Deliver care in a patient-focused acute care hospital environment while managing a typical ratio of 6:1
• Adapt to unit needs, including weekend coverage and assignment-based scheduling
