Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for Med Surg unit, responsible for providing patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed unit.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, techs, and other staff.
• Utilize equipment such as wound vacs, IV pumps, and telemetry.
• Adhere to the scheduling requirements and participate in holiday rotation.
• Float between designated units as needed.

Requirements:

• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Experience with lab draws and telemetry.
• Navy scrubs required as uniform.
