Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Mother/Baby, postpartum, or a closely related specialty
• AHA BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Preferred: IV start experience
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital nursing environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care for postpartum patients and newborns in a Mother/Baby setting
• Support couplet care and family-centered education for new parents
• Monitor patient and infant status, document assessments, and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Assist with routine postpartum and newborn nursing interventions as needed
• Deliver high-quality care while maintaining professionalism, organization, and attention to detail during overnight shifts
