Nursing Administrator / House Supervisor – Full Job Details
Unit: Nursing Administrator / House Supervisor
Division: Nursing
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour nights, Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
License to Submit: Yes
EMR: Cerner
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- COVID-19 Vaccine
Required Experience
- Previous House Supervisor experience is required
- Experience managing hospital-wide staffing
Job Responsibilities
- Manage staffing across the entire hospital
- Assign and manage hospital beds
- Work with Charge Nurses regarding staffing and patient flow
- Respond to patient complaints and concerns
- Handle staffing situations and operational issues
- Contact administration when escalation is required
- Coordinate with departments during off-hours
- Call in Cath Lab and OR teams when needed
- Provide overall nursing supervision during the night shift
Key Candidate Must-Haves
Must have:
- House Supervisor experience
- Active license
- BLS
- ACLS
- COVID vaccine
- Ability to work 6 PM–6 AM
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Experience overseeing hospital-wide staffing and operations
