Job Summary
Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift This position involves working in a 26-bed long-term care facility where the focus is on managing patients with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. RNs will act as charge nurses, pass medications, and perform wound care. The role requires LTC experience and involves working night shifts with a schedule of 12 hours per shift.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of LTC experience; licensure to submit; location requirements as specified.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Nurse acts as charge and passes medications, performs wound care, and may be required to attend team conferences depending on the unit. No IVs or titratable drips are administered. No telemetry or strip reading required. On-site therapy services include PT as needed, with social work designee support. Staffing includes support from physicians via phone on-call. The unit uses MatrixCare/MatrixBSN electronic charting system. No on-site RT; oxygen therapy processors and portable oxygen concentrators are used. The facility is a long-term care setting with 26 beds, focusing on chronic conditions rather than acute care. The position is for the duration starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027. RTO requests must be made upfront within seven days of the start date.
