Job Summary:
Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves partnering with residents and care teams to provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment through direct and indirect nursing care. The units include specialized and rehabilitative care settings focused on residents with Alzheimers/dementia, short-term recovery patients, and long-term residents.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associates in Nursing; valid State of Maine or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; 0-3 years of previous RN experience; medical terminology preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills; flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week; ability to float to other units as needed.
- Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid. St. Mary's reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Residing outside a 50-mile radius is a required condition for applicants.
