Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• ICU experience required
• BLS certification required before first shift
• ACLS certification required before first shift
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and carry out individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Support rehabilitation goals and participate in weekly care conferences
• Initiate discharge planning and teaching from the day of admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to the charge nurse and attending physician
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing personnel as needed
• Promote a safe, respectful, and efficient care environment
• Contribute to quality outcomes and professional growth through ongoing learning
