First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Eureka, California.
Job Description & Requirements

Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse – Night Shift
- Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 18:00 – 06:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
- Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling model.
- Weekend Protocol: Weekend shifts required as needed to meet facility staffing coverage.
- Floating Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Mandatory floating within scope to meet facility needs (travelers float first). Must be open to floating to Postpartum / Mother-Baby / LDRP.
- Time-Off Restrictions: Maximum 7 days of Requested Time Off (RTO); 1 request allowed.
Assignment Duration: 26-Week Contract (09/14/2026 or ASAP Start) | 1 Open Position
Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]
- Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1+ year of clinical Labor & Delivery RN experience. First-time travelers accepted. Postpartum experience preferred.
- EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is mandatory.
- Licensure Requirements: Active California State RN License in hand at submission (pending licenses NOT accepted).
- Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (or Advanced) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
