Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Eureka, California. This position involves providing specialized care for obstetric patients in a high-risk obstetric and culturally diverse population. The role requires circulating on cesarean sections and supporting postpartum and neonatal care. The assignment begins on 09/08/2026 and offers a robust schedule for nights.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of current labor and delivery experience, California state license (compact license accepted), ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications, proficient in charting with Epic, experience in high-risk obstetrics and cesarean sections, minimum 1 year of professional practice in relevant clinical areas, valid license in California.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating for cesarean sections, neonatal and postpartum care expertise.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the scope of practice.
- Additional Information: Travelers are expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must be flexible with scheduled holidays and RTO requests, adhering to the maximum of 7 days. References covering at least one year of recent clinical experience are required. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless scheduled for an interview.
